Made-to-Order Items

All of our headboards and are made to order, handcrafted in Ireland to your selected size, fabric and specifications.

Because each piece is made specifically for you, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind once an order has entered production.

We encourage you to review all product details carefully and contact us with any questions before placing your order. Fabric samples are available on request to help you make a confident choice.


Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.

After this period, cancellations are not possible as materials are ordered and work commences.

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at info@herondesign.ie


Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care in the craftsmanship and packaging of our products. However, if your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the damage or fault

Where a fault is confirmed, we will arrange one of the following, as appropriate:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

This does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Delivery Issues

Please ensure that delivery access, measurements and suitability have been carefully checked before ordering. We cannot accept responsibility for items that cannot be delivered due to access restrictions, stairways, door widths, or similar issues.

Any redelivery or return-to-sender costs incurred in these circumstances may be charged to the customer.
